Job Overview
Provide a wide range of medical surveillance support (including monitoring of clinical laboratory data for subjects in clinical studies and composing medical narratives and interfacing with investigator sites.)

Essential Functions
• Serve as the Global Lead for a medical surveillance project requiring a team of medical surveillance specialists
• being responsible for project specific training, operational delivery, project communication, and quality control
• Sets up new projects and project-specific procedures working in conjunction with the Sponsor/IQVIA physicians, IQVIA Laboratories or other central laboratory Project Manager or Data Manager and Lab SME for local lab projects and Clinical Team Project Manager
• Represents Medical Surveillance Team at client meetings, project team meetings and investigator meetings
• Interacts with Project Team to convey critical information that may impact study objectives. Verifies site performance and communicates information to Project Team and Sponsor/IQVIA physicians
• Interacts with the designated central laboratory or Local Lab set up team to ensure reporting of subject laboratory results is consistent with protocol requirements
• Trouble-shoots remote data access problems with appropriate IT and central laboratory personnel. Proactively alerts IT and central laboratory personnel to data reporting issues
• Based on clinical laboratory experience, identifies potentially significant trends or shifts in laboratory results and alerts
• Sponsor/IQVIA physicians
• Interacts with Project Team to convey critical information that may impact study objectives
• May verify site performance and communicates information to Project Team and Sponsor/IQVIA physicians
• Maintains up-to-date laboratory knowledge via continuing education activities (like completion of continuing education class, applicable learning edge courses, review of journal articles) or attendance at medical seminars

Qualifications
• Life Sciences or allied health sciences,ie pharmacy,biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology,nursing, biotechnology, medical laboratory sciences, physiotherapy
• health care ie medical (allopathy, homeopathy,ayurveda), or dentistry,
• 6 to 10 years relevant experience (req).
• with a minimum 4 years of medical surveillance experience which includes minimum of two years of Lead experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
