Roles and Responsibilities

Submit, monitor, and document prior authorization requests to ensure timely approvals for procedures, medications, and specialty consults

  • Manage referrals by scheduling appointments, forwarding required information, and ensuring completion

  • Track and schedule diagnostic imaging orders, including result follow-ups and documentation

  • Coordinate follow-up appointments after emergency visits or care transitions, ensuring proper documentation

  • Schedule surgeries, communicate with patients, and ensure all pre-operative requirements are completed

  • Prepare and review patient charts for completeness and accuracy before appointments or procedures

  • Monitor, sort, and distribute incoming faxes, ensuring proper documentation and issue resolution

  • Conduct follow-up calls with patients and insurance providers, documenting interactions and resolving concerns

  • Navigate payer portals, download member lists, and verify insurance eligibility prior to appointments

  • Analyze patient lists to identify individuals requiring preventive care measures

  • Document all activities and interactions in EHR or client-specific software

  • Follow up with inpatient admissions and coordinate post-discharge care with providers

  • Retrieve and enter inpatient data from hospital portals, faxes, emails, and referrals into EMR

  • Create patient engagement communications including letters, reminders, and status updates

  • Perform pre-charting based on provider preferences before patient visits

  • Assist in patient and facility coordination to ensure smooth workflow

  • Coordinate with facilities to obtain patient medical records

  • Scan and upload relevant patient documents as required

Work Mode:

  • Office-based

  • Work-from-home option may be considered after full training and client approval (subject to company and client decision)

Work Timings:

  • US Day Shift (Indian Night Shift)

  • Exact shift depends on client’s US time zone

Educational Qualifications:

  • Any Life Science Graduate
    (BDS, B.Pharm, BAMS, BHMS, BSc Nursing, BSc Biotechnology, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior healthcare experience is an advantage but not mandatory

  • Typing speed of ≥50 WPM with 95% accuracy

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Strong multitasking, time management, and target-oriented skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

  • Demonstrates empathy and patience in patient interactions

  • Ability to handle patient queries and concerns professionally

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or willingness to learn

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

  • Proficiency in computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet usage
